Description

Video Poker was developed by Ron McRae. Ron lives together with his family in Illinois / USA and worked with RCX/NXT since 4 years. He is well known as the builder of the amazing slot machines - and one of them was the “Best Mindstorms Machine” at Brickfair in Washington DC in summer 2008.

But Video Poker is smaller and don't need external bricks - it runs only on the NXT! Upload the RIC und RSO files, compile the NXC program and start! But be aware: If you start once you never can stop ;-)

How you can play the game? Read the PDF or DOC document or follow the brief instruction here:

Start the game by pressing the orange button on the first screen:

You start with 50 points. Every time when the NXT will serve the cards, your account will be reduced by 5 points:

When all 5 cards are uncovered, than you can decide to keep some cards or replace them by new cards. Press left or right arrow button for selecting the highlighted card and with the orange button you can toggle between SAVE or DEAL.

When you finish the status of the cards move one step outside the 5 cards (status switched from SELECT to DEAL?) and press the orange button to re-deal the desired cards:

Now the NXT will calculate the value of your cards. When you win than the account will be increased.

At the end of the turn press again the orange button to start the next game ...
